At Clever, we don’t have core values like most organizations do but instead, we have core convictions that have shaped our culture since day one. One of our core convictions is that we believe “Conflict is Normal.”
Conflict is an uncomfortable topic, but without conflict, things can get even more uncomfortable. When conflict isn’t present, honesty is often absent as well and if we can’t be honest with each other, then what are we even doing?!
Conflict can be tough but when navigated in a safe and healthy environment, it can be a gamechanger for your organization.
As a team we don’t avoid conflict, but neither do we seek it out. We set realistic expectations for our projects, team, and clients. We never sugarcoat things, but we always strive to speak with love.
We believe that conflict handled with care and honesty, leads to more trust, respect, understanding, and of course, growth!
Conflict is inevitable but drama is a choice. Don’t choose drama, embrace conflict because Conflict is Normal.
